The Alchemy of Gold: The Shakti of Somatics, Creativity and Healing
Join me for a 3-day creative, live experience of talks + workshops.
Drawing from my experience, I will be talking about The Shakti of Somatics, Creativity and Healing. You will discover themes of: Art as Sadhana, reawakening your senses, embodying abundance, rituals of slowness, regenerative practices, the healing power of authentic expression, and the rich wisdom of textures.
Somatics and creativity weave a potent pathway to re-awakening, healing, and liberation.
Your creative life is a complex, organic, emergent, eco-system that needs spaciousness, rest, play, curiosity, nourishment, AND trust, devotion + pleasure
The creative process is an invitation/ an unravelling / a mystical journey to discovery
Your creativity is primal, sacral energy, Shakti that is gifted and flowing through you.
You have the power to think, create, reimagine, and destroy. You have the power to taste your ideas, and bring them into form. You have the power to listen to your intuition, and feel it's call
Your creative process has a rhythm, a texture, a fragrance, a movement. Whether you are producing something or not (yet), the creative earth and fire is within you, calling you, yearning to emerge, and longing to connect.
Also it's vital to slow down, rest and take the pressure of "doing", and "producing". You need to grow boundaries, knowing when enough is enough, and it's time to take a break - make a cuppa, rustle up a feast, and put your feet up on the sofa.
We are here to remind you that creating art can be your heartfelt way of connecting to the DIVINE. Making is a devotional practice, that is a powerful and transformative healing balm, that nourishes your soul. Making is the antidote to sensory overload. When you are in the flow of making, you are unplugging from the outside world, and tuning deeper into your inner world, and exploring what needs to be unveiled. You are feeling into what needs to be felt, what you need to accept, or simply what you need to release.
Making with your hands is an act of self-love, self-acceptance, and self-liberation. Your ideas can bring meaningful change, create space for authentic connections, grow healing pathways, and weave new realms!

“An artist is an artist before they have ever produced a single thing. The production of something is not what makes a body an artist. It is the soul that makes an artist, the core of the psyche that fills the person, the creative fire inside a person that make them an artist. And if that person has the soul of an artist, that is they have the burning as each and every individual does, then they are an artist, they are entitled to the title artist, we are all entitled to the title artist before we have produced one single thing.”
